Rialto bridge at night

I misremembered the train schedule - thus we suddenly ended having 2 hours to spare in Venice. Equipped with 12-hour boat tickets after visiting the northern lagoon, we decided to ride the vaporetto down the canal. At 9pm, the usually crowded boat was pretty much empty! I definitely enjoyed the open rear deck during the precious minutes when the sky balances well with the lights. Good thing that we missed the train! (2010/6/18)
